Last Friday, during the consolidation game for the World Championship, Spain won over Slovenia with 97-80 wherein Spain utilized the fourth quarter to win. Juan Carlos Navarro from Spain scored 26 points. The reign of Spain in this World Championship ended when they loss to Serbia last Wednesday during the quarterfinals. The Spaniards landed 5th with another triumph.
Goran Dragic together with Jaka Lakovic scored 19 points for Slovenia, which will be playing for the seventh place. On the other hand, Rudy Fernandez and Fran Vazquez each scored 16 points for Spain.

Goran Dragic, from Phoenix Suns scored 18 points thus letting Slovenia get into the elimination round of the World Championship. Slovenia won with a 65-60 victory versus Iran last Thursday.
