Recently, the contract to sell Slovenia’s Tusmobil has already been signed. However, the sale will only become official done or completed once the buyer of the said company deposits the needed amount which will most likely be this first week of September.

Based from what unofficial sources have gathered, Tusmobil earned approximately 150 million Euro from this transaction.

Until now, the buyer of the Tus remains unknown, however there has been a speculation that “one of the largest telecoms operators in Europe” is the buyer of Slovenia’s Tusmobil. Rumors have settled on Orange, Tele2 or perhaps Deutsche Telekom.

Tusmobil is part of the Tus business system which is a major retailer within Slovenia. Until now, the buyer is still unknown including the price they are willing to pay to buy Tušmobil. For an unofficial informant, the said company will b e bought by a large mobile operator from Europe. At the end of year 2009, Tušmobil had approximately 170,000 users as compared to the 12,500 users it had when it launched its operations last October 31, 2007.

In June 2009, the said company has absorbed the Tuš Telekom and thus merged into Tuš Holding which is owned by Mirko Tuš. He as well owns Engrotuš, a grocery chain operator. Tušmobil also offers fixed-line and IP telephony, internet access as well as IP-television. It as well possesses GSM 900 MHz and 1800 MHz frequencies and is owns a license for the UMTS 2100 MHz frequency.
