The xTc Paragliding is offering beginner as well as improver cross country courses starting from the Tolmin-Kobarid valley, Slovenia. From June 16 up to 23, British club pilots together with 25 hours airtime can work on their BHPA Pilot rating. Optimistically, they should be signed off by the end of the week.

The xTc team will try to work this week on fixing the individual pilots’ target skills. The courses will be managed according to this schedule: in the morning will be the briefing, afternoon will be intended for flying and lastly, evening will be allotted for debriefing and analysis.

The skills and topics included in the courses are as follows: XC planning, instruments, glider plus harness setup, thermalling observation, decision making, gaggles, final glide as well as XC leagues. They also offer packages including full retrieve, transport, accommodation as well as course fees. For the price list, you can visit the xTc website. Self-catering accommodation is as well available however with lesser prices for non-flyers as well as children which will be close to free if possible.
