Nejc Pecnik is anticipated to miss the rest of the South Africa 2010 after he broke his right ankle during their game against the United States.

Pecnik, a 24-year-old Slovenian player got his injury during the 2-2 draw at Ellis Park last Friday during the match up with the United States team. He collided with Fulham midfielder Clint Dempsey leading to his injury.

The Slovenian player known to be the Nacional forward has just entered the game during the second half as a substitute and now he got himself injured with the controversially disallowed USA goal.

This will surely affect coach Matjaz Kek as Pecnik will probably miss the Slovenia’s critical final group match versus England this coming Wednesday.
